about.

Women’s Island is a long-standing community centred around intimate, private events in exclusive locations. In 2024, the organisation moved toward a more structured identity, expanding its presence through social platforms and a dedicated website. My role covered the full design process: establishing the visual identity, shaping the brand narrative, and designing and developing the website to support the community’s evolving digital presence.

The logo was developed following an initial guideline from the client, who wanted an animal to represent the brand. Given the beach setting of the community, the oyster became the most fitting symbol.

The supporting graphic elements also reference the brand’s origins: the sun resting on the sea and a rose, which represents the birthplace of the project.

challenge.

My work included developing the visual identity and designing merchandise and products, as well as creating the website with e-commerce functionality. I also produced digital assets such as posters, Instagram content, and video reels.

The runners’ interface was designed to stay simple, intuitive, and distraction-free. For this flow, I analysed several existing running and event apps, identified the most effective interaction patterns, and combined them into a streamlined experience tailored to our users’ needs.

The goal was to translate the energy of Mediterranean summer culture into a cohesive visual language that could live both online and in real-world events. Every design choice — from color palette to product photography — was aimed at connecting style and atmosphere into one strong, memorable identity.
